The North Central District hosted social meet-and-greet events in October 2016, in Marshfield and Wausau. Future events are being considered. Please direct any questions to our Membership Committee, Denise Kearns-Legoo, PT and Cindy Koehler, PT.
The District hosted a CE Course, “Pelvic Floor – Stranger No More” presented by Shani Johnson, DPT, October 1-2 in Marshfield and an ethics course, “Optimal Documentation, Billing and Compliance 2016-2017” presented by Lynn Steffes, PT, DPT on October 4. Both courses were well attended and received excellent feedback from participants.
Join us at our upcoming District meetings, starting May 9 for the first in a three part series, “Waking the Sleeping Giant”, as presented by Wesley Kurszewski, PT, DPT. In part one, Kristin Eneberg-Boldon, PT, DPT (PMRS Supervisor at Tomah VA), will present an overview of the transformative pain treatment program, at Tomah Pain University. In parts 2 and 3, (May 9 and Feb 13, 2018), Dr. Kurszewski will present PAIN 101. Be with us on site in Marshfield, or via any of our multiple videoconference sites. Please join us in the conversation and discussion of how physical therapists in Tomah are leading the way and transforming the model of pain care for our veterans.
